(ADOPTED) December 2024: Hadria

Please meet our September and November Pups of the Month, Queenie and Mochi. Both are still waiting to find their forever homes!

Life with Hadria is a delightful blend of fun, mischief, and heart-melting moments. This playful and energetic 4-month-old pup is brimming with curiosity and excitement—until naptime, which happens often. His antics will keep you laughing (and maybe wondering where your missing shoe went), but that’s all part of his irresistible charm.

Like any young pup, Hadria is still learning what it means to be a cherished family member. He thrives with structure, guidance, and positive reinforcement to help him understand what’s expected. Training and socialization are as much about building your bond with Hadria as they are about teaching him. Together, you’ll shape him into a happy, well-mannered companion who will fill your life with endless joy.

Hadria’s already mastering basic commands—he’s one smart cookie! With patience, consistency, and love, he’s ready to shine as your loyal sidekick.

Ready to welcome Hadria into your life? Visit him at the San Diego Humane Society or contact Jasmine Belisario at jbelisario@sdhumane.org for more information (mention us for a special reward). For inquiries about Hadria or Queenie, reach out to Jordan Frey at JFrey@sdhumane.org.

Hadria’s Identification Number: 931977

Join us in giving Hadria a forever home and enjoy a memorable stay at the La Jolla Shores Hotel!

Meet Mochi, our November Dog of the Month! This lovable 7-year-old German Shepherd mix instantly stole our hearts with his gentle spirit and soulful eyes. Mochi was surrendered after seven years with his family due to his caregiver’s age, and he’s now in search of a new home filled with love and companionship. As the only pet, Mochi thrives on all the attention and will return every cuddle with unwavering loyalty. He’s even been featured as ABC 10News and NBC 7’s “Pet of the Week”!

To celebrate Mochi’s new beginning, anyone who adopts him will receive 50% off our Best Available Rate (Garden or Coastline) for up to 2 nights. For direct inquiries about Mochi or Queenie, reach out to Jordan Frey at JFrey@sdhumane.org.

Meet Queenie, a water-loving pup who might be a mermaid in disguise! She’s all about playing in sprinklers, sipping from the hose, and curling up with her favorite humans. While Queenie takes a little time to warm up to new faces, once you’re in her circle, expect endless kisses and loyalty. She’s seeking a calm, adult-only home where she can feel safe and thrive.

If you’re ready to offer patience, snuggles, and lots of water play, contact her foster at FosterFurMommy@gmail.com or visit the San Diego Humane Society’s San Diego Campus at 5500 Gaines St. in San Diego, CA 92110, to learn how you can adopt him.

For a direct inquiry regarding Queenie, email Jordan Frey at JFrey@sdhumane.org.
